Holland Performing Arts Center Omaha Wedding Photography

Nicole and Evan were married at the Holland Performing Arts Center in downtown Omaha. This venue had be excited at day one! I googled the Holland and knew I was in for a treat! I have been marketing my wedding photography business in Omaha and Lincoln area more and was thrilled to add the Holland Performing Arts Center to my list of venues. I hope to work there may more times with Georgia and her wonderful team!

I was also blessed to work with the amazing Vernetta Kosalka of The Wedding Planner Omaha! She is a dream come true! I also have her to thank for sending me this beautiful couple!

Nicole and Evan met one fateful night in college. One dead cell phone and night of being ditched by friends led to a love story that is so, so obviously wonderful. Some things are meant to be!

The Holland was a perfect place to host the wedding! The ceremony and the reception all in one area made for a great celebration and party. I had to park my car in a parking garage like a big city girl:)

Enjoy your sneak peek into wedding day!

Ramada Inn Wedding

Kearney Nebraska wedding photography by Samantha Weddings. This wedding was in a local Holdrege, Nebraska church. Then the reception was in Kearney, Nebraska at the Ramada Inn. The wedding reception at the Ramada Inn was gold and neuatral themed. A story book wedding.

Catlin & Rachel were married on the most beautiful April 22, ever! The weather was beautiful, the flower trees were in bloom, & love was in the air. An emotional wedding with family & friends this couple said their vows at the Prince Of Peace Church in Kearney.

Catlin showered his bride with notes & gifts before the first look. Rachel shared a first look with her father & her groom. The kids were cute & the band was awesome. Take a look at my first wedding of the season.

Romantic Outdoor Fall Wedding in Omaha

There are times in my career as a wedding photographer that I am so taken back by a couple that it shows me exactly why I do this. A wedding that reminds me why I started to do this in the first place. It's a simple reason, really. Love. An energy between two people that can be so electric it sets others on fire.

I knew the moment I met Carrie & Matt that they were meant to be. Relationships are made up of two people who can sometimes be so opposite. However, when I met these two they had the same glow. They were made of the same kind of magic. They shared this connection that I could see, hell I could even feel it. I wonder if they know that they have the kind of love people write about?

I already knew they were special people from spending time with them at their rehearsal dinner, but then I found another clue. A special ring box with a little tune written on the front. A song from an old cartoon that I am sure most people wouldn't recognize. That's when I was blown away and was certain I had stumbled into a wedding I was meant to be at. I learned a lot from you two. The biggest reason I am sure will present itself in time but for now, I prepared a short list.
1. Laugh, a lot.
2. Go through life yelling positive things.
3. Smart phones only hold you down.
4. When you kiss, kiss like you mean it...

So here is to singing about the moon, or tea for two, or a sky so blue.

If you'd like to see what the ring box was all about you can see this little clip I LIKE TO SINGA CLIP
