Jacque & Chad were married at the Warehouse #4 in Lincoln, Nebraska. They had chandeliers hanging from the ceilings & wonderful flowers everywhere. Real flowers at weddings are my favorite, hydrangeas are my absolute favorite! So, needless to say, I was so excited. The decorations just spoke to my little phantom at the opera house, heart. That was kind of the vibe, exposed brick, low lighting, pretty twinkle lights. Pretty much exactly how you would expect a wedding reception to look like.
The Warehouse #4 used to be the old spaghetti works, so it was neat to see what they had done with the building in turning into an event venue. The company that owns the building calls it a rustic option for couples, but I disagree. The venue feels much more city to me. With exposed bricks, beautiful wooden bar, & library. It is way to chic for rustic. So, I did notice that.
The wedding was a small ceremony with only the family & very close friends there. A personal friend sang for them & their children helped light the unity candle. Jacque's little girl wore a little white dress making her more of a junior bride than a flower girl. The family & friends enjoyed a cocktail hour followed by a larger reception when more friends arrived to help the couple celebrate.
Jacque is one of those brides that just goes with the flow. She was hilarious, cracking jokes, & being the belle of the ball. She truly worked the room going from one table to the next greeting her guests. She was genuinely excited to see all of them. Chad also worked the room, greeting guests & being a wonderful host for his bride. Watching the two of them throw a party & Chad cry during the ceremony made this wedding truly one to remember. They touched my heart & I wish them years of happiness.
