This wedding was the second family wedding in a row for me. This was an exciting time for my fiancé's family. As they gave away their youngest daughter to a good man.
Whitney and Brett were married at the George W. Frank House in Kearney, Nebraska. You could feel the fall coming in the September air. First off was Brett and his new guitar from Whitney. I photographed his Vera Wang tux ( I know fancy!), and some really cool cigars. Then I headed over the the girls hotel. I arrived to laughter and champagne in the bridal suite. I was immediately drawn to the large bouquets of crimson red roses. I arranged the roses and Whitney's dress and shiny details for a picture in the sunshine of the window. Then her mother helped her put on her jewelry in that same sunshine.
We arrived at the Frank House and Whitney had a first look with her father. His face lit up when he saw his daughter as a bride. Whitney cried in her fathers' arms. The moment filled my heart up.
Brett was the next up for a first look of Whitney. I couldn't help think about how beautiful it was to watch this man cry in his bride's arm. His soul was on display. They both cried, wedding day tears. Then the reception was complete with a father dance that included a whip and a nae nae! OH and it was good!
I have to wish this loving couple a happy forever and thank them for allowing me to be there for all of it!
